Do You Know You Are Beautiful

Most of us have experienced a jaw-dropping encounter with another person. What was special about this experience to me was seeing this individual, who was a common fixture in my sphere, in a different light for the first time. It literally stopped me in my tracks and I said to myself… “Do You Know You Are Beautiful?” The piece wrote itself with ease from there, with a little added poetic license to make it a boy-meets-girl happy ending.
